New smile, complete dental reconstruction
Patients seek us out for total dental reconstruction for two reasons. The most common is an aesthetic problem - an unsightly smile with a lot of old, unsuitable fillings, crowns or bridges, yellowed or tetracycline-stained teeth, or "crooked" teeth. Another very common reason is loss of function - broken or missing teeth, chewing problems.
How is the overall reconstruction going?
Consultation
You will discuss your wishes and expectations with the doctor. This is followed by a check of the condition of your teeth - a comprehensive dental examination with the preparation of all necessary radiographs or CT scans. DENTAL HYGIENE is also an integral part.
Acute treatment
If something hurts, first an acute treatment is done, i.e. pain relief (extraction, endodontics, gingivitis...). Only then is it appropriate to undergo dental hygiene and other procedures.
Surgery
If necessary, irreversibly damaged teeth, roots or wisdom teeth are extracted at the beginning of treatment. At this stage, bone can also be added to the planned implantation sites, or implants are inserted directly so that the alveolar bone has enough time to heal before proceeding to the bite reconstruction phase itself.
Treatment of cavities, root canals
All treatments at our clinic are performed painlessly and precisely. We use the most modern devices and methods. In this phase, tooth decay is repaired, unsatisfactory dental fillings are replaced, tooth inflammation is treated with root canal treatment, and whitening is performed if the patient wishes.
Aesthetic design
The next phase is the aesthetic design of a new smile, which is consulted with the patient and then provisionally transferred into the oral cavity. The patient thus tries out the new bite, the new shape and size of the teeth, and can also roughly evaluate the newly selected tooth color.
Reconstruction
f the patient and the doctor are satisfied with the design, we proceed to the reconstruction itself - the necessary teeth are prepared and the restorations - crowns, bridges, or veneers - are made in the laboratory. They are then fixed to the prepared teeth to complete the new smile.
