Comprehensive dental examinations

Regular preventive check-ups are aimed at preventing the development of dental and gum disease, and are therefore an important prerequisite for the continued health of your mouth.
A preventive dental examination will allow you to catch problems at an early stage, before you even notice them, making their treatment much easier and less costly.
During the dental examination, we will thoroughly examine:
Damaged, missing or decayed teeth
Early signs of cavities
Gum condition, periodontal pockets, inflammation or other signs of disease
Status of previous dental work (e.g. root canals, fillings and crowns)
Early signs of mouth or throat cancer (e.g. white lesions or blocked salivary gland function)
Suspicious growths or cysts
Position of your teeth (e.g. cleft, correct bite)
Signs that you are clenching your teeth or have them worn down too much due to overuse
Signs of bleeding or inflammation on your tongue, palate or floor of your mouth
Overall health and function of your temporomandibular joint and signs of possible disease
Overall condition of the jaws and bones in your face
neck, glands and lymph nodes for signs of inflammation
Have preventive dental checkups twice a year.

A preventive dental examination includes a dental X-ray, which can detect, for example, cavities under existing fillings, fractures, impacted wisdom teeth, cavities below the gum line, or bone loss caused by gum disease.
